This is a solid entry-level Delta card if you fly a couple times a year and want to avoid checked bag fees. Delta miles often don’t stretch as far as other travel partners, but we’ve seen more SkyMiles deals lately, which helps. I still recommend applying when there’s an elevated welcome offer to maximize value.
