Amber's Thoughts
Devin and I have each had this card at least 2 times. I keep mine forever because the annual fee is more than paid for with an annual free night certificate (worth 35,000 points). A great thing about marriott is that the 5th night is free when booked on points. My favorite time to open this card is when they are offering five Free night certificates (FNC) worth 50k points each. You can always top off a FNC with 15k of your own points. Chase and marriott are both transfer partners of marriott if you need extra points to top off a fnc!
