Paze – The Secret Way To Earn A Lot Of Chase Points?

Paze - The Secret Way To Earn A Lot Of Chase Points?

If you have a Chase Sapphire or Chase Freedom card, I need you to pay attention to this one.

There’s a promotion running right now through the end of 2026 that is a really good way to stack Chase points. And we always need more Chase points.

It’s called Paze. Never heard of it? Me either until recently. But you’re going to want to learn.

What Is Paze?

Paze is an online checkout option — think of it like PayPal or Google Pay. It’s built and operated by Early Warning Services, which is the same company behind Zelle (so you may already be familiar with them without even realizing it).

You’ll see it here:

When you link one of your eligible credit cards to Paze and use it to check out at a participating merchant, your charge posts to your credit card exactly the same way it would normally. The merchant name shows up on your statement just like any other purchase. The only difference? You can earn significantly more points just by choosing Paze at checkout.

How do you earn those points? I’m glad you asked.

Two Promotions Running Right Now

Okay this is where my interest was piqued with Paze. There are now two separate promotions running simutaneously with Paze. And they’re both good!

Promo #1: Earn 10x Extra Points on Chase Cards (Through December 31, 2026)

I’m really excited about this one. And here’s why: the 10x is in addition to whatever points you’re already earning. So if your Chase Sapphire Reserve® earns 4x on travel and you buy United flights through Paze, you’re earning 14x total. On. One. Purchase.

Which Chase Cards Are Eligible for 10x?

Keep in mind that no business cards are eligible.

Important note (that you’re going to LOVE): Each card has its own $1,500/month cap. So if you have multiple eligible Chase cards, you can earn 10x across all of them up to $1,500 per card per month. That’s a lot of potential points.

Current Paze Merchants

So, which merchants actually use Paze at checkout? Well sadly not a whole lot. (Although the list is growing fairly frequently. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more add to the list during this promotion)

It’s not a massive list, but it covers some decent categories. Here are the current participating merchants (again, always check paze.com for the most current list as it can change):

  • United Airlines
  • StubHub
  • Sephora ($10.00 minis and gifts!)
  • GNC
  • Domino’s
  • Wendy’s (Okay, I can send my kids to Wendy’s for a $10 treat all summer long!)
  • Whataburger
  • Dunkin’ (Donuts for park playdates)
  • Teleflora
  • Fanatics
  • 1-800 Flowers
  • Pet SuperMarket
  • ShopRite
  • Jared
  • Zales
  • And more — check paze.com for the full current list

⚠️  Important: Newegg Update Newegg was previously a Paze merchant but as of June 30, 2026, purchases at Newegg are no longer eligible for the 10x Chase points offer. If you were planning to use Paze at Newegg, you have until June 30th to do so for the 10x points benefit.

Best Ways To Use Paze With Your Chase Cards

Here’s What 10x Really Looks Like

Chase Sapphire Reserve®United Airlines (flights)4x+10x14x 🔥
Chase Sapphire Reserve®StubHub1x+10x11x + $250 credit
Chase Sapphire Preferred®ShopRite Groceries (online)3x online groceries+10x13x 🔥
Chase Sapphire Preferred®Restaurants (Domino’s, etc.)3x dining+10x13x
Chase Freedom Unlimited®Everyday purchases1.5x+10x11.5x
Chase Freedom Flex®Select rotating categories if applicable5x+10x15x

When you look at that table, you might start to understand why this promotion is such a big deal. 14x on United flights with the Sapphire Reserve is extraordinary. 13x on groceries? Okay. And for those of us who have been watching Chase make it progressively harder to earn Chase points — this is a welcomed promotion.

Chase Sapphire Reserve + StubHub

Here’s a free 1,500 points. The Chase Sapphire Reserve® comes with a semi-annual $150 StubHub credit (part of the card’s benefit package). When you use Paze to check out on StubHub, you earn 10x points on top of your normal earnings. Stack those two benefits together and you’re essentially getting paid to go to games. Buy tickets, earn 10x+ points, and use your credit to offset the cost.

Want to take it a step further? Shop through a shopping portal such as Rakuten or Capital One Offers for even more savings.

Promo #2: $10 Off $10+ Purchases (Through September 10, 2026)

Bonus Promo — For Almost Everyone

Paze is offering $10 off purchases of $10 or more, up to 10 times per card you link to Paze. This works on ANY card connected to Paze — not just Chase — and even includes debit cards

This is a separate promotion from the 10x Chase points promo, and it’s worth paying attention to because it’s potentially $100 in statement credits per card you link — and you can link cards from multiple banks.

Who Is This Promo For?

Okay this is kind of interesting. Actually, its really interesting. The $10 off $10 promo isn’t limited to Chase cards. It’s available on any card from a participating banks that can link to Paze. Current participating banks include:

  • Bank of America
  • Capital One
  • Chase
  • Citi
  • Elan (which issues cards for many smaller community banks and credit unions)
  • PNC
  • Truist
  • U.S. Bank
  • Wells Fargo
  • And more — with additional institutions listed as “coming soon”
Additional Paze linked institutions in Paze Wallet

So if you have cards from multiple banks — or even debit cards from these institutions — you may have far more than 10 total opportunities for $10 credits. The $10 applies per card you link, so the more eligible cards you connect, the more opportunities you have.

I think between my husband and I we have about 14 eligible cards. It’s kind of wild to think that that’s $1,400 of “free” money.

Key Things to Know About the $10 Off $10 Promo

  • You must spend at least $10 in a single transaction to qualify
  • You must check out using Paze for the credit to apply
  • Credits can take up to 2 billing cycles to appear on your statement — it’s not instant
  • Easy merchants to use this at: Dunkin’, Domino’s, Wendy’s, Whataburger — just order $10+ via their app and check out with Paze

At this point I’ve made a few purchases with Dunkin’ as well as Sephora (hello stocking stuffers!) with no problem. At the time of writing this, it’s too soon to know how quickly the statement credits will appear. But I have no reason to suspect that they won’t.

Paying with Paze
Paze $10 promo is clearly applicable

In this purchase, shown above, from Sephora, I had no problem using Paze and clearly the $10 off $10 purchase is active. Additionally since its a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, I will earn 10x plus my standard 1x points on this purchase.

Okay, I feel like I’ve jumped ahead a bit. How do you actually set up Paze?

How to Set Up Paze

Getting started with Paze is really simple. You can activate it from your credit card account, but here’s what I did:

  1. Go to paze.com and click “Activate Paze”
  2. Enter your email that is associated with your bank cards/credit cards
  3. My bank cards just appeared (okay this was kind of scary!)
  4. If your cards don’t appear you can move on to step 5:
  5. Select your bank or card issuer from the list of participating institutions
  6. Log in to your bank account and link your eligible cards

You don’t need to do anything else. The charges will post with the normal merchant name attached and the bonus points will stack on top of your regular earnings.

What To Do If Your Eligible Cards Aren’t Showing Up In Paze

I’ve heard (and am experiencing) some trouble linking one or more accounts. People mention that some cards link with no problem while others can’t be linked. I’m actually experiencing that with my husband’s Chase cards. I think it’s because, some time ago, my email ended up as his primary email in Chase’s world. I have a secure message into Chase to help rectify this. But here’s some troubleshooing tips for you:

  • Make sure your email/phone number associated with Paze is the same one that’s associated with Chase.
  • Go to your Paze wallet and OPT OUT (on the left side of the screen). Now re-enroll in Paze via the Chase app. In your Chase credit card account, go to ‘Manage Account’ -> ‘Digital wallets’ -> ‘Paze’. You can link your card from here. It will send you a code and should link your accounts. In my case it asked to verify identity with a drivers license. This didn’t work either. You do have an option on this screen to call Chase and receive a code over the phone. I’ve heard success with this but haven’t tried it yet personally.
Click Manage account
Click Digital Wallets
Add Paze Wallet

So Why Do We Care SO Much About These Promos?

Well, honestly, Chase has made it hard to earn their points. (I know you knew that already). If you’re able to take advantage of the $1500 per month on your eligible Chase cards, that’s an extra 15,000 points per month. Paze is an opportunity to build up some Chase points before the end of 2026.

Additionally, the $10 off of $10 promo is an extra 1,000 points on each of your eligible Chase cards. We have five. I’ll take 5,000 points and some free coffee for a little leg work. Actually I’m excited that the promo is on multiple (non Chase) cards too.

I know the merchants are….lacking. But they are adding new merchants. And honestly, I’m excited to stock up on some stocking stuffers at Sephora and lotttsss of donuts, bagels, you name it, at Dunkin’. If you’re already paying cash for a United flight, this is a HUGE bonus also.

The Bottom Line

Paze might just be one of the most underrated earning opportunities for Chase cardholders right now. If you have a Sapphire or Freedom card, there’s no reason not to use it. You still have through December 31, 2026 to take advantage of the 10x points.

The $10 off $10 promo (through September 10th) is a nice bonus on top — especially if you have cards from multiple banks. A little time spent linking your cards to Paze could be worth several hundred dollars in credits with very minimal effort.

Set it up today. It takes five minutes.
