But since the Vacasa partnership ended, many families are left wondering:
“What do I do with all these Wyndham points now?”

The good news? Wyndham points can still unlock incredible value for families — especially if you know where to look. The key is focusing on Club Wyndham and WorldMark resorts, which offer oversized villas, full kitchens, and space to spread out — often for fewer points than you’d expect.

• Non-gaming condo resort just two blocks from the strip.
• Pool, hot tub and BBQ facilities on site
• Great location for exploring surrounding areas

Club Wyndham Seawatch Resort: Myrtle Beach, SC

• Resort includes 8 pool, 11 hot tubs and 2 lazy rivers
• Onsite fitness center, playground and gameroom

WorldMark Big Bear Lake: Big Bear Lake, CA

Club Wyndham vs. WorldMark: What’s the Difference?

Both programs fall under the Wyndham umbrella, but availability varies by location.

• Club Wyndham properties are more common in the U.S. and resort-heavy destinations.
• WorldMark properties often shine in the western U.S. and select international locations.

You don’t need to own a timeshare to book these — many are available directly using Wyndham Rewards points.

Tips for Booking Wyndham Resorts with Points

• Search by destination, not brand — some of the best properties don’t scream “hotel.”
• Be flexible with dates — larger units can have limited availability.
• Book early, especially for school breaks and peak travel seasons.
• Always check unit size and bedding, as layouts vary.
• Wyndham cardholders get a 10% discount on award bookings – but you do need to have the full amount of points in your account at the time of booking.

Availability sometimes can be tricky for these timeshare properties. I found it easiest to search for availability in cash first then toggle to points to book.

💡Pro Tip: All Wyndham points expire 48 months after earning them. Be sure to have a plan to use them in the next few years!

This makes Wyndham especially useful for families who earn flexible points and want to convert them into oversized accommodations.
