Hyatt All-Inclusives: Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta
All-inclusives are the definition of true vacation for many! Imagine the hardest choice is pool or beach? Mocktail or cocktail? Nightly show or karaoke? Asian or Italian tonight? All-inclusives can be a great way for a family to experience a true restful vacation. Come join me as I walk you through this guide to Hyatt All-Inclusives.
Lucky for us, World of Hyatt has a LOT of all-inclusives to choose from. Like over 100! There are options for every (points) budget, every location, and family trip or couples trip to choose from! I can’t wait to show you a few awesome hotels you can choose from. But first, let’s take a look at how to book All-Inclusives with Hyatt points.
Hyatt offers several all inclusive brands to choose from. And hey, if you want to try them all, you can earn yourself a free night or two on Hyatt’s Brand Explorer Bingo after you try five new brands in their portfolio.
Here’s a list of their all inclusive brands:
Although most of these resorts are located in the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America – you will find several properties in places like the south of Spain, Greece and more.
These properties typically are available to book 13 months out. Hyatt has a fixed award chart – meaning your points will be one of three prices: off peak, standard or peak pricing. I suggest searching for 2 adults. From a desktop, you’ll be able to access the points calendar as seen in the image below. This allows you to view nightly award prices on a monthly view.
Once you bring up the points calendar you’ll be able to see the nightly award price. Note that this does not confirm if availability actually exists. But it can be useful to know which days are more ‘points expensive’ than others! Keep in mind that these prices are all inclusive for the first two people in the room.
When you choose your dates, complete a mock booking to see if the property is available to book on points. If it prompts you to complete your booking or states you need more points, then availability is there. If this happens, then you’re all set! Go ahead and book your stay or transfer in points if needed! If your availability is not there, you can always use a tool like Maxmypoint or OpenHotelAlert to view potential availability and set availability alerts.
Once your hotel room is booked, it’s time to add on your kids! You can email the hotel directly or chat with Hyatt via their secure chat or X (it’s still Twitter in my head). You’ll have the option to add 3rd and 4th guests at a points rate (typically somewhere around ~12,500 points per person per night) or cash for ~$80-$150 per night.
I’ve stayed at three Hyatt all-inclusives and each time, we’ve paid cash for the third guest in our room. Typically it hasn’t made sense for me to fork out the additional points. Although paying the discounted nightly cash rate means the trip certainly isn’t FREE, it is highly discounted!
Almost everything! You’ll have access to any amenities on their property that are not considered a regular upsell. You’ll see restaurants, bars, entertainment, fitness center, non motorized water sports (where available) and kids club all included in your award stay.
Typical things that are not included are things such as: massages, catered dinner on the beach, jet ski/motorized water sports entertainment, photo packages, some premium wines/drinks and tips.
Keep in mind if you’re looking for the ultimate luxury – Miraval is an adults only wellness resort that does include amenities such as activities and spa credits!
Hyatt All-Inclusives: Ziva Cap Cana
Considered one of the best all-inclusive Hyatt properties in the portfolio, this resort boasts a full water park, kids club, several restaurants, private club lounge, entertainment – all on a beautiful stretch of beach.
Some rooms can sleep up to five – but be aware that you will be paying the additional nightly cash (or points) rate for three guests.
Points rates at this resort range from 42,000-58,000 per night. Yes that’s steep. But it’s one property that doesn’t sacrifice on family friendly amenities or luxury. We stayed here in July of 2024 and my family wants to go back.
Given that cash rates can be $600-$1200 per night – the points price doesn’t seem so bad. Especially when you factor in that you aren’t paying for much of anything once on property!

This adults-only all-inclusive is considered pure luxury by many. Situated on the Riviera Maya, you’ll have beautiful beaches, lavish amenities and suites with rainfall showers. Expect to unwind and be pampered.
Prices range from 35,000 – 45,000 per night for two people. If you’re looking for a top notch adults only all-inclusive, this price is hard to beat.
For an even more elegant experience, you can book Impressions Moxche By Secrets – which costs more points but is an over the top ‘resort within a resort’ experience with nothing but luxury from the moment you arrive.

This family friendly resort is located on the crystal clear waters of Cancun’s beaches. Enjoy pools, a water park, golfing, a world class spa and spacious suites at this stunning resort.
Award stays are priced between 25,000 – 45,000 points per night for two people. With cash rates hovering at $400 on the lower end, this can be a great use of your points – especially since your food, drinks and entertainment are all included!

This adults only retreat is the cream of the crop when it comes to all-inclusives. Miraval resorts are focused on wellness and connecting with nature – so no party vibes here. All meals, snacks and non alcoholic beverages are included. But where it gets interesting is what there is to do. Activities like equine tours, hiking, farm tours, wellness lectures, yoga, and fitness classes are all complementary. Additionally guests have full access to the spa.
Nightly points are based on single occupancy at Miraval properties but you can add on a second guest for an additional 20K points per night. Points prices range from 40,000 – 50,000 points per night for single occupancy.

Note that to transfer Ultimate Rewards earned from any cards, you must hold a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Reserve or Ink Preferred.
Hyatt’s large footprint of all-inclusives means there’s a worry-free vacation available to anyone. They definitely can cost more points than a traditional hotel but the freedom to say ‘yes’ to your kids (if you choose!) whenever you want is such a great feeling! We’ve done three Hyatt all-inclusives so far and my family definitely enjoys them. Every so often it’s nice to have a stress free, worry free vacay! And with the amount of cards that can earn Hyatt points – it’s doable too!
